Have you been in a motor vehicle accident, or involved in any other traumatic event where there was impact that caused your head to snap back and forth? If so, there’s a good chance you’ve suffered some level of whiplash. If you’re experiencing neck pain and stiffness, pain or numbness in your arms or hands, dizziness, headaches, lower back pain or discomfort in your shoulders or shoulder blades, those can all be early symptoms of whiplash. The sooner you get treatment, the less debilitating your injuries will likely be. We can help.
At the Cano Health and Rehab Clinics, we have provided full-service chiropractic care to people in the DFW Metroplex who have suffered any degree of whiplash injury. Though we’ll focus on the areas of your body most acutely affected by the whiplash event, we believe in treating your whole body. We’ll conduct a complete examination, identifying all of the consequences of your injury. Then we’ll work individually with you to formulate a treatment regimen specifically designed to help you reach your goals.
You may be reluctant to contact us, afraid that you can’t afford medical treatment. Relax!! If you have a legitimate legal claim for damages, we won’t charge you up front for medical services, but will work with your attorney, getting payment for our services after you’ve recovered a verdict of settlement. We can even help you find an experienced and proven personal injury attorney to handle your claim.
We know that the injuries caused by whiplash can make it difficult or impossible for you to drive. We can arrange to pick you up and take you home after your appointment.

Our Treatment of Injury and Pain Caused by Whiplash
When you are involved in any event where your head is violently jerked back and forth, it can cause stretching or even tearing of the muscles and tendons in your neck. Often, the symptoms of whiplash don’t appear for a day or two. Because whiplash doesn’t involve bones, it cannot be diagnosed with a simple x-ray, but requires an MRI.
At Cano Health and Rehab Clinics, we offer a wide range of treatment options to victims of whiplash injury, including spinal adjustment or manipulation, chiropractic massage, gentle stretching exercises, ultrasound and heat/ice therapy.
